Since high school, I knew I wanted to work in a field that would allow me the opportunity to blend business and technology to have an impact while also getting the chance to work with brilliant people everyday. I personally didn't feel computer science was a strong fit for me in college so I worked tirelessly to build a background that would make me stand out as a PdM who had a nontechnical background but could do technical work. This lead me to pursue a variety of experiences: working as a product intern at a nuclear fission company, running an internship in the community solar space, and acting as a product management intern for an insurance company. Setting myself apart from most other folks with a strong background in leadership and scrappiness, I was able to secure a full time offer in product and product adjacent roles at companies like Microsoft, bp, DraftKings, and more.
